Standard Features of Wooden Bathtubs
Each Hestia Round Tub includes a drain valve without overflow, equipped with a Viega Ø50 mm siphon and click-clack mechanism or rubber stopper with chrome cover and chain. Reinforced with 3–4 hot-dip galvanized steel hoops, with optional tightening for additional rigidity.
The tubs are made watertight with double tongue-and-groove joints, sealed with original transparent silicone. The wood is planed and finely sanded, then hand-finished inside and out with a transparent hygienic sealant resistant to chemicals and heat.
Height is available in 60 cm or 70 cm; the internal depth is always 17.5 cm less than the external height.

Adds 10 cm in height at the headrest or foot area for enhanced ergonomic comfort.
Cut-Out Lower Rim (Long Sides)
Upon request, the tub can be manufactured with a cut-out along the longitudinal sides up to 10 cm high. By default, the cut-out is only made at the drainage connection.
Removable Lower Skirt
Facilitates easier transport through narrow openings. In combination with a cut-out lower rim, the removable skirt reduces tub height by 10 cm during installation.
Drain & Overflow Set
By default, tubs are not equipped with an overflow. On request, they can be fitted with a complete drain and overflow system in chrome-plated brass. For tubs where the overflow is hidden beneath wall cladding, a PVC set with visible components in chrome-plated brass is used. Available with click-clack or rubber stopper and chrome cover with chain. Finishes: chrome, rustic-antique, or brass. Optionally, a tubular overflow in chrome-plated brass or hose connection for external drainage can be supplied.
Backrest Support
Provides gentle support along the spine, offering freedom of movement and full-body immersion while the natural buoyancy of water reduces pressure on the body. Especially valuable in massage systems. Available as removable with suction cups or as a fixed, integrated element.
Footrest
Designed for shorter users to ensure ergonomic comfort in larger tubs. Easily attached to the tub floor with suction cups as needed.
Step Stool
Crafted from solid larch or kambala wood with a hygienic transparent seal. The upper edge aligns with the tub floor. Dimensions: 60 × 25 × 17.5 cm.
Bath Mat
Made from thermally treated ash wood, surface finished with dark oil treatment. Available in 60 × 45 cm or 100 × 60 cm.
Cross-Tub Shelf
Solid larch or kambala wood shelf spanning the tub. Dimensions: 80 × 25 cm or 110 × 25 cm.
Wellness Surface Finish
Standard tubs are hand-sealed with three coats of transparent hygienic protection. For public or high-use settings, we recommend the Wellness finish, with an additional PerITec protective layer for enhanced resistance.
Steel Hoops with Tension Lock
Standard tubs are reinforced with hot-dip galvanized steel hoops. Optional variants include stainless-steel hoops or hoops with antique patina finish.
Wall Connection Cladding
Solid larch or kambala wood cladding enables seamless installation against a wall, in a niche, or into a recess. It can also conceal fittings and technical connections or serve as an elegant shelf. For freestanding tubs, rear cladding is available for a fully enclosed finish.
