Standard Equipment of Wooden Cooling Tubs and Bathing Barrels
In the base version, cooling tubs and bathing barrels are equipped with a stainless steel overflow pipe functioning as both stopper and overflow, with a drainage fitting. Optional variants include a Viega click-clack drain or a rubber stopper with a chrome cover and chain, for which we recommend using a full drainage and overflow kit.
Cooling tubs and bathing barrels are delivered with an external hanging ladder and an internal fixed step. Depending on the size, they are reinforced by 3–5 galvanized steel hoops, with the possibility of additional tightening.
Wooden cooling tubs and bathing barrels are bonded watertight using double tongue-and-groove joints. The joint between bottom and wall is further sealed with transparent original silicone, which ensures maximum strength of each connection and long lifespan. The tubs are planed and finely sanded; both interior and exterior are treated with a hand-applied transparent hygienic finish resistant to chemicals and high temperatures.
By default, the external height of cooling tubs and bathing barrels is 100 cm, and depth is always 17.5 cm lower.

Drain and Overflow Set
Cooling tubs and bath barrels come standard with a static overflow pipe in stainless steel. Upon request, the tub can be equipped with a full drain and overflow set made of chrome-plated brass. For installations where the overflow section is hidden behind wall cladding, a PVC set is used, with visible components also in chrome-plated brass. The drain and overflow sets are supplied with either a click-clack system or a rubber plug with a chrome cover and chain, available in chrome, rustic-antik, or brass finish.
Freestanding Steps
Steps made of solid wood instead of a fixed hanging ladder; available in heights of 25 cm and 50 cm with a 48 cm width. The top step is aligned with the height of the internal step/seat inside the cooling tub or barrel.
Internal Step/Seat
Each tub includes an internal step or seat as standard. Upon request, additional seats can be installed on both sides of the tub for comfort.
Hose Outlet Connection
Allows water discharge from the cooling tub using a hose. The fitting can be positioned either next to the drain or the overflow pipe.
Filling Nozzle
The tub can be equipped with an integrated water-filling nozzle installed at the bottom or side, suitable for fresh or recirculated water systems—particularly useful for cooling tubs with water circulation.
Wooden Bath Mat
Crafted from thermally treated ash wood with an oiled surface (dark finish). Available sizes: 60×45 cm or 100×60 cm.
Shelf Board Across the Tub
A solid wood board made of larch or kambala, available in sizes 80×25 cm or 110×25 cm.
Wellness Surface Finish
All wooden cooling tubs and barrels are treated with three layers of manually applied transparent hygienic coating. For public or high-traffic facilities, we recommend the Wellness Finish, providing an additional durable protective layer with the option of PerlTec surface technology.
Steel Bands with Tension Lock
The tubs are equipped with hot-dip galvanized steel hoops as standard. Optional versions include stainless steel or rustic-antik finished bands.
Wall-Mounted Cladding Panels
Made from solid larch or kambala wood, the cladding ensures a clean wall connection for tubs placed against walls, in corners, or recesses. It also serves to conceal plumbing, fittings, or act as a convenient shelf. For freestanding tubs, the back side can be enclosed with matching cladding.
Tub Height
The standard height is 100 cm, with optional customization to 110 cm or 120 cm, depending on the ladder height and overflow pipe configuration.
Automatic Refill System
Tubs can be optionally equipped with an automatic refill valve and adjustable flow control. This ensures a continuous supply of fresh water for optimal hygiene and temperature balance—recommended capacity 60 litres per person.
