Standard Features of Wooden Bathtubs

Each bathtub is equipped with a drain valve including overflow, with a Viega Ø50 mm siphon system and either a click-clack or rubber stopper with chrome cover and chain. The tub is reinforced with 3–4 galvanized steel hoops with optional additional tightening.

Wooden bathtubs are crafted to be completely watertight using double tongue-and-groove joints. The bottom is further sealed with transparent silicone, ensuring maximum durability of all joints and long lifespan. The wood surface is finely sanded and treated inside and out with a hand-applied transparent hygienic sealant, resistant to chemicals and high temperatures.

At the customer’s request, the bathtub can be manufactured with a height of 60 cm or 70 cm, depth reduced by 17.5 cm.

Accessories & Customization Options for Wooden Bathtubs

Raised Upper Rim

An elevated headrest or foot area, raised by 10 cm for additional comfort.

Cut-Out Lower Edge on Long Sides

Upon request, the bathtub can be supplied with a lower side edge cut up to 10 cm in height, allowing easier connection to drainage systems. By default, the cut-out is provided only at the siphon connection point.

Removable Bottom Skirt

For easier transport or passage through building openings, the lower base can be made removable, reducing the total height of the bathtub by 10 cm.

Drain & Overflow Set

Bathtubs are not supplied with overflow as standard. On request, they can be equipped with a drain and overflow set in chrome-plated brass. For tubs with concealed overflow parts, PVC systems are used with visible chrome-plated brass components. Options include click-clack or rubber stoppers with chrome cover and chain, in chrome, antique-bronze, or brass finish. Alternatively, a tubular overflow in chrome-plated brass or hose connection for draining can be supplied.

Backrest Support

Provides pleasant lumbar and spine support, ensuring freedom of movement and full-body immersion. Especially useful when combined with massage systems. Available as removable suction-mounted or built-in versions.

Footrest

Helps shorter users achieve comfort in larger bathtubs. Simply attach the footrest to the base of the tub with suction cups when needed.

Step Stool

Crafted from solid larch or Kambala wood, finished with a hygienic transparent seal. Dimensions: 60 × 25 × 17.5 cm.

Bath Mat

Made of heat-treated ash wood, oil-finished in dark tone. Available in sizes 60 × 45 cm or 100 × 60 cm.

Bath Tray

A solid wood tray in larch or Kambala, available in sizes 80 × 25 cm or 110 × 25 cm.

Wellness Finish

All wooden bathtubs are hand-sealed with three layers of transparent hygienic coating. For public or high-demand use, we recommend the Wellness finish, with an additional PerITec protective layer that enhances durability and resistance.

Steel Hoops with Tension Lock

Standard hoops are made of hot-dip galvanized steel. Alternative options include stainless steel or antique-finished hoops.

Wall Connection Cladding

Made of solid larch or Kambala, this cladding allows for seamless integration against a wall, into a corner, or within a niche. It can also serve to conceal plumbing fixtures and controls or simply provide a refined decorative finish. A closed back panel option is available for freestanding placement.
