Standard Features of Wooden Bathtubs
Your Loveboat Bathtub comes standard with a drain valve (no overflow), a Viega Ø 50 mm siphon system with click-clack mechanism or rubber stopper with chrome cap and chain. It is reinforced with 3–4 galvanized steel hoops, optionally adjustable for optimal rigidity.
Each tub is crafted watertight using double tongue-and-groove joins, additionally sealed with transparent silicone for maximum durability. The wood is planed and finely sanded, and both interior and exterior are hand-finished with a transparent hygienic sealant, fully resistant to chemicals and high temperatures.
Available in external heights of either 60 cm or 70 cm; internal depth is always 17.5 cm lower than external height.

Raised Upper Rim
An additional 10 cm of height at the headrest or foot area for enhanced comfort and ergonomics.
Cut-Out Lower Rim (Long Sides)
On request, the tub can be manufactured with a 10 cm cut-out along the longitudinal sides. By default, the cut-out is provided only where the drainage connection meets the waste outlet.
Removable Lower Skirt
Facilitates easier transport through narrow passages. When combined with a cut-out lower rim, the removable skirt reduces the overall tub height by 10 cm for installation purposes.
Drain & Overflow Set
By default, tubs are not equipped with an overflow. On request, a full drain and overflow set in chrome-plated brass can be supplied. For tubs where the overflow is concealed beneath wall cladding, a PVC set with visible parts in chrome-plated brass is used. Options include click-clack systems or rubber stoppers with chrome cover and chain, available in finishes: chrome, rustic-antique, or brass. Alternatively, a tubular overflow in chrome-plated brass or hose connection for external drainage can be provided.
Backrest Support
Provides comfortable support along the spine, allowing freedom of movement and a sensation of weightless immersion thanks to the water’s buoyancy. Particularly beneficial when used with massage systems. Available as removable with suction cups or as an integrated fixed support.
Footrest
Improves comfort for shorter users in larger tubs. Attaches easily to the tub floor with suction cups as needed.
Step Stool
Crafted from solid larch or kambala wood with a transparent hygienic sealant. Dimensions: 60 × 25 × 17.5 cm. The top edge aligns with the tub floor for easy access.
Bath Mat
Made from thermally treated ash wood, finished with a dark oil coating. Available in 60 × 45 cm or 100 × 60 cm sizes.
Cross-Tub Shelf
Solid larch or kambala shelf designed to rest across the tub. Dimensions: 80 × 25 cm or 110 × 25 cm.
Wellness Surface Finish
All tubs are supplied with three coats of hand-applied transparent hygienic sealant. For public or high-demand use, we recommend the Wellness Finish, with an additional PerITec protective layer for increased durability and resistance.
Steel Hoops with Tension Lock
Tubs are supplied as standard with hot-dip galvanized steel hoops. Optional alternatives include stainless steel hoops or antique-finish hoops.
Wall Connection Cladding
Solid larch or kambala cladding for seamless installation against a wall, in a corner, or in a niche. It can also support fittings, conceal connection systems, or simply serve as an elegant shelf. For freestanding placement, a rear cladding option is available to fully enclose the tub.
Additional solutions can be tailored to your individual requirements.
